Lucky for me, I get to see so many sweet babies come through for their cake smash sessions and each one is so fun! And honestly, a cake smash can go one of two ways. And, we never know which one we will get. Your little one can have the time of their life, enjoy the cake, shake and spread the icing around the studio, and truly have fun. Or, they get so overwhelmed by the mess and overstimulated with everything going on that they are less than pleased.
Regardless of which scenario your baby lands in, it’s okay! This will be an epic moment you won’t forget. And the best part? You’ll have it documented forever. Let your little ones be little and remember this moment should be fun. Don’t stress about getting them to do the “perfect” thing. Let your baby have fun and give yourself some grace. You’ve raised an incredible little one, it’s time to celebrate that too!
Hitting the one year milestone is HUGE! Your baby has grown so much and changed in every way. They might be walking, standing, crawling, and aware of everything around them. It’s the little moments and all the big moments that happen in your baby’s life that ou’ll want to hold onto. One of the best parts about my sessions is that we customize it to you and your baby. I always encourage my clients to keep it simple and classy in a fun way. I want you to have fun with the day and have timeless images you’ll love to look back on. Think of what your baby does, or base it off the outfit you’ve been saving for their big day. Keep decor and props minimal, so your baby is the center of attention. It’s their big day, so let them shine and show off their sweet personalities!
